Inspiring the Future: Next Generation Anglers Zone at The Florida Saltwater Fishing Expo in March
Volusia County, FL – January 10, 2025 — The Florida Saltwater Fishing Expo is proud to introduce the Next Generation Angler’s Zone, an exciting feature designed to engage, educate, and inspire the next wave of fishing enthusiasts. This interactive area, created specifically for young anglers and beginners, will provide hands-on experiences, expert guidance, and fun activities aimed at fostering a lifelong passion for fishing and marine conservation.
Sponsored by Southern States Fishin’ and Huntin’ Magazine and the Halifax Sport Fishing Club, the Next Generation Angler’s Zone will include:
Kid-Friendly Fishing Clinics – Experts will teach essential fishing skills, from knot-tying and casting techniques to proper catch-and-release practices.
Conservation Corner – Learn about marine ecosystems, responsible fishing practices, and how young anglers can help protect Florida’s waters for future generations.
Interactive Demonstrations – Hands-on exhibits featuring real fishing gear, tackle setups, and fish identification guides.
Giveaways & Prizes – The first 100 junior anglers to participate in the interactive zone will win a free rod and reel! And all junior anglers will have chance to win things like tickets to the Daytona Tortuga’s, fishing gear, tackle boxes, and other exciting prizes!
